slowthai navigates a series of dead-end jobs in his “Drug Dealer” video

U.K. rapper slowthai didn't really enjoy his school days. His name is a reference to being behind the other kids growing up (slow and his real name, Ty) and on new song "Drug Dealer" he explicity states his belief that a life of crime was all that waited for him, "What else can I do?"

The video accompanying that song shows an alternate reality where slowthai is seeking gainful employment, trying his hand at a 9-to-5 in an office and even giving farm work a go. It all proves too much though and things soon turn violent. Check out the video above.

slowthai plays MOMA PS1 in New York on Saturday, August 25 before returning to the U.K. for a headline tour throughout September.
