On Tuesday, tweets containing homophobic remarks purportedly written by a number of women rappers began to circulate. Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, Asian Doll, City Girls's Yung Miami and JT, and others were all named. A number of the rappers issued apologies, which you can find below.

In a since-deleted post, Doja Cat claimed her use of a homophobic slur in the past does not make her hateful. "I've said faggot roughly like 15 thousand times in my life," she tweeted. "I don't think I hate gay people. Gay is ok." The "Moo" singer later apologized for the post in a follow-up apology.
