TDE’s Anthony Tiffith says the label will release two more albums in 2018

Or will it be four?

August 30, 2018

TDE has had another major year in 2018. Kendrick Lamar won a Pulitzer Prize and created the Black Panther soundtrack, while SZA went platinum with her debut album Ctrl. The whole roster even headed out on tour together earlier in the summer. The year isn't over though and late on Wednesday one fan on Twitter asked label boss Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith what to expect before 2018 ends. His answer was albums, maybe as many as four.

"i have 2 more for y'all now... I'm trying for 4," was Tiffith's answer to the question. Fans in the comments below have speculated that the two guaranteed projects will come courtesy of ScHoolboy Q and Isaiah Rashad. Q has dropped various updates on his follow-up to 2016's Blank Face while Rashad hasn't released anything since The Sun's Tirade that same year.

Less is known about the two further projects Tiffith hinted at. Yesterday saw the release of "Better Days," a new song by TDE's latest signing, Reason.
