“Mo Bamba” producers accidentally uncover Travis Scott’s music secrets after beefing with Zedd

After Take A Daytrip tweeted out some music theory, Travis Scott’s longtime collaborator Mike Dean said it’s the same stuff he’s used “since the beginning.”

On October 1, electronic music producer Zedd tweeted out his feelings for Sheck Wes's "Mo Bamba," and they were pretty shady. "I have so many questions" he wrote in a tweet that was deleted after all of Twitter began roasting him. The best comeback came from the producers of Mo Bamba, Take A Daytrip – after Zedd implied that his musical tastes were too refined to enjoy the song, Daytrip responded with musical theory:

Pretty brutal. But it got even better: Mike Dean, longtime engineer and producer for Travis Scott, said that he has employed the theory Daytrip cited on Travis Scott's music "since the beginning." It goes to show the value of studying musical theory for hip-hop producers. Or, at the very least, following Mike Dean on Twitter.
