Just in time for hibernation season, Jessica Pratt has emerged with her first song in three years. The true enchantment of Pratt's music has always existed within her ability to conjure lucid atmospheres with just a guitar and her honeyed voice, and the new single "This Time Around" is no different— a visceral escape to some time gone by.
The song will appear on Pratt's upcoming album Quiet Signs, the follow-up to 2015's On Your Own Love Again. Its video, a faded quilt of Super 8 footage directed by Laura-Lynn Petrick, emphasizes that escapist feeling. Watch it, and catch Pratt's upcoming tour dates, below.
