Toronto’s Nixxon goes on the ultimate joyride in “Where You From”

Toronto rapper Nixxon created the perfect song for city-wide joyrides, recently sharing the visuals to his latest release, "Where You From" - a bouncy ode to his hometown featuring fellow Toronto-based artist Meeno.

The clip sees the pair rolling through various parts of the city but Nixxon says the song is a bit deeper than that, explaining the song represents his roots in the city's east end and shifting its narrative. "I wanted to show my audience that you can be cool without talking about the use of violence in today's rap culture," he added.
