Meek Mill has the Number One album in the country

Championships debuted at No. 1 following its November 30 release.

Meek Mill is celebrating after his new album Championships hit the No.1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart. The album, Meek's first since being released from prison in 2017, sold 229,000 equivalent album units according to Billboard. 42,000 of those were physical sales and helped him secure the top spot.

Championships is Meek's second No.1 album of his career following 2015's Dreams Worth More Than Money. The new album has also given him his highest-charting single of his career with Drake collaboration "Going Bad" currently sitting at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Meek released Championships on November 30. The album features appearances from Drake, Cardi B, Jay-Z, and more. Since the album dropped Meek has shared a video for "Intro" and hinted he could drop a second project before the year ends.
