Devoted fans of Big Mouth, Netflix's animated series that tackles puberty with all the heart and gross-out moments it deserves, will already be familar with The Hormone Monstress. Voiced by Maya Rudolph, she is the physical manifestation of everything running through the mind and body of teen girl Jessi.
She's an instant fan favorite with Rudolph clearly having a wild time in the booth recording her parts. In the show's second season, which hit Netflix earlier this year, one simple mention of "bubble bath" became iconic. The audio of Hormone Monstress adding syllables you didn't know existed to the word went viral followed by the inevitable (but actually pretty good!) sampling in a dance track.
Fast forward to this week and Miami drag queen Miss Toto, who has previously performed as Mr. Krabs, performed a full routine to Dizzy Rambunctious's Jersey club track built around that unforgettable "bwubble bath" sample.
