Future announces album release date

He’s also set to share a documentary on Apple Music.

January 04, 2019

Future revealed on Apple Music Wednesday that his new album, currently untitled, will be released on January 18. A week prior, he'll share a documentary on Apple Music entitled The WIZRD, produced by Mass Appeal. “The feature-length film follows the artist closely and peeks into corners of his world never seen before,” a press release promises.

The news comes the same day as new visuals for his just-released single "Crushed Up." The song is a tribute to diamonds, and the clip directed by Spike Jordan and Sebastian Sdaigui follows on the vibe: set in a haunted mansion with lots of snow and high fashion, it's a pretty accurate visualization of Future's music.

Future released BEAST MODE 2, his album with Zaytoven, in 2018, as well as the Juice WRLD collab WRLD on Drugs.
