Cardi B and Tomi Lahren clashed over Trump and the government shutdown

Cardi B traded insults with conservative commentator Tomi Lahren this weekend after the latter tweeted about the rapper's comments on the ongoing government shutdown.

Cardi's belief that "our country is a hellhole right now, all for a fucking wall" went viral last week and seemingly caught the attention of Lahren who tweeted at her: "Looks like @iamcardib is the latest genius political mind to endorse the Democrats. HA!"

Cardi then responded, telling Lahren she would "dog walk" her if she didn't leave her alone.

"I'm sure you would," Lahren replied. "Still doesn't make your political rambling any less moronic." Cardi then called Lahren a "sheep," writing, "You're so blinded with racism that you don't even realize the decisions the president you root for is destroying the country you claim to love so much. You are a perfect example on no matter how educated or smart you think you are you still a SHEEP!"

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez showed her support for fellow Bronx resident Cardi. "Why do people think they can mess with Bronx women without getting roasted?" she tweeted. "They act as though our borough hasn't been perfecting the clapback since the Sugarhill Gang."
