Earlier this month, rising Australian singer-songwriter Stella Donnelly announced her debut album Beware of the Dogs. Today, she's offering what she calls her "favourite song on the record," a wandering soundtrack to feeling lost that's quite simply titled "Lunch." The accompanying self-directed clip is a nice capsule of normalcy stitched together with home videos of Donnelly and her pals.
"A song that was only ever meant to be played on a single guitar and sung turned out to be the most intricate and textured piece of music I’ve ever produced," said Donnelly in a press release. "I wrote this about the feeling of displacement I get when I go on tour and come back and nothing feels the same. There’s a disconnect there.”
