Harlem musician Sav, sire.'s music — much like his stomping grounds — is rich and diverse in sound. The rapper seamlessly blends hip-hop's traditional rap qualities with the unabashed 808 bass-driven tones of today. His latest single "Day After Day" — premiering via The FADER today is just that, and feels like some of that good ol' get-money music that Harlem's always been known for.
"I made this song to be the soundtrack for season 3, episode 7 of The Boondocks," Sav tells FADER. "Kind of like how Riley [Freeman] gets rich off fundraising — I'm a fund raiser, that's what I do. I get my money up."
