The first song Bby Laana recorded was a diss track she made in high school. Hailing from San Francisco's Fillmore, neighborhood, Laana first started gaining traction by posting her aggressive freestyles on social media. In her new video for "Skitz," which premieres on The FADER today, Laana keeps that same energy, continuing the tough-talking, venomous rhymes that have made her into one of the Bay Area's brightest rising stars. "I feel like the song is a warning," Laana told The FADER over email. "Basically, I'm telling you leave me alone or there's consequences you're not gonna like." Watch her new video for "Skitz" above.
