Krept, one half of London rap duo Krept & Konan, has shared a song dedicated to fellow MC Cadet, tragically killed in a road accident earlier this month. The track takes the form of a message direct from Krept to Cadet, his cousin, speaking openly about how the news affected him and reflecting on their life together. Footage from a memorial event is included in the video.
Cadet was killed while travelling to a gig at Keele University in Staffordshire, England on February 9. The 28-year-old was a passenger in a taxi that collided with another vehicle.
A concert celebrating Cadet's life will take place at London's O2 Academy Brixton on Saturday, March 2. Over 25 artists will appear at the show, which takes place on what would have been the rapper's 29th birthday. All proceeds from the show will be donated to charty.
