No matter how big or small, finding the energy to keep going with a task can be hard. AMA, an 18-year-old R&B singer from London who mixes throwback '90s melodies with 21st century beats, challenges this notion on new single "Slip." Ultimately, she reasons: "no one other than me can make me, draw pink skies and green ground."

Pressing play on the "Slip" video, then, is not another act of procrastination on your part. It is actually step one on the journey to get what needs doing, done. In the video we see AMA being put through her paces in a gym class far cooler than anyone experienced in school and coming out of it the other side.

Speaking to The FADER via email, AMA said: “‘Slip’ is essentially about taking control of your own happiness and not allowing anybody or anything to get in the way of trying to be the best version of you. Immediately when I was thinking of video ideas I thought we could do a video with multiple different versions of me all being challenged and pushed. I thought there was no better place than for that to be taken place in a gym class.”
