Leslie Jones and Kenan Thompson spoofed R. Kelly's recent interview with Gayle King during Saturday Night Live's cold open last night.
Thompson made fun of the fact that Kelly said his accusers want money from him but also admitted he doesn't have any money. He also interrupted the interview to sing a special rendition of "Trapped in the Closet" several times.
For her part, Jones maintained a serious demeanor and continuously said "Robert."
During his first interview since being charged on 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse involving four women, three of whom were underage at the time of their alleged assaults, R. Kelly broke down in tears and had to be restrained by his publicist.
Kelly denies the charges, as well as allegations that two women who are currently living with him are being held against their will.
