The sun came out an hour before the doors opened for Day 1 of The FADER FORT yesterday, meaning that everyone behind the scenes is sunburned except for the one member of FADER staff who bought a cowboy hat in advance.

Still, anyone smart enough to stay hydrated and wear appropriate headgear was part of an incredible day of live music, including sets from Chicago rapper Lucki, DIY pop diva Sir Babygirl, and multitalented Little Rock artist Kari Faux. The day came to an end with stunning performances from former FADER cover stars Japanese Breakfast and Rico Nasty.
