The U.K. collective’s Seasons project is out later this month.

House Of Pharaohs, a London-based collective comprising 6 different rappers and solo artists, has always existed a little outside of the many micro genres that exist in the U.K. rap world. Listen to debut mixtape Real Faces or 2017 EP The Fix and you hear a group forging their own path.

This makes new song "Magic City" an interesting proposition. By teaming up with producer Nyge, a reliable hit-maker through his work with AJ Tracey, Not3s, and Smoke Boys, House Of Pharaohs have the mainstream firmly in their sights. "Magic City" lends itself well to Sam Wise and Bandanna's melodic flows, while the pitched up samples in the background make the track endlessly repeatable.

"Magic City" is the first track from a new HOP x Nyge project, Seasons, due on May 10. A video for the song is premiering above. Speaking to The FADER via email, the group said: “'Magic City' represents a particular shade in a range of hues our feelings can span to. Various feels are captured in Seasons. This track so happens to set loose party tones, whether the uptown club nights or link up vibes.”
