Wu-Tang Clan now has their own district in New York
Ghostface Killah and Raekwon were in Staten Island for the unveiling.
Wu-Tang Clan now has a district named after them in Staten Island. The Hill reports the streets of Park Hill in Staten Island were named after the hip-hop group in a ceremony yesterday. According to the publication, the New York City Council voted unanimously to honor the group's contributions to the borough by naming the section of State Island after them in December.
Wu-Tang members Raekwon and Ghostface Killah attended the ceremony.
"I never saw this day coming. I knew that we were some ill MCs, but I didn't know it would take it this far," Ghostface said, referring to the moment as a "dream."
