"Eighty-six months of chains is finally over. I've deliberately kept my silence so I could observe with my own eyes what is going on."

Those were the first words Buju Banton said to the public since returning home from serving seven years in prison. Last week, the Grammy-winning reggae artist released his first post-prison single titled "Country For Sale." The song critiques how Jamaican institutions that are invested in tourism exploit their resources and citizens. Today, FADER is premiering the Banton and Donovan Germain co-produced song's lyric video which shows interpretations of corporations like Air Jamaica indulging in greed. The song doesn't appear to be connected to a new studio album from Banton. Since February, he's been traveling throughout the Caribbean for his The Long Walk To Freedom Tour, which will have more dates soon according to an email from his publicist.
