In anticipation of her Festival Stage set, Melii remembers her journey to where she is today.

Since dropping her phAses project, Melii has been hitting the festival stages and expanding her domain from uptown NYC to the rest of the country. She'll be returning to her home turf for Hot 97's Summer Jam next month, so to commemorate the milestone in her career, she sat down with Cey Adams to take a brief look back at how she earned her spot on the bill.

In the second episode our Summer Jam edition of Artist on Artist, presented in association with Pabst Blue Ribbon, Cey remembers feeling that designing the logo for Hot 97 in its infancy would help lead to bigger and better gigs. On the flip side, Melii believes she hasn't had her "I made it" moment quite yet. They also exchange their most iconic moments that helped solidify an artist's career. Melii closes with the humility she feels to be performing this year after never imagining such a reality.

Watch the full interview above and keep it locked for the third and final episode with A Boogie.
