Ghoulavelii is a 21-year old artist that hails from Seattle and offers a new video for his single, “Inna Trap.” He has been involved with music since he was young, playing guitar and drums for multiple punks bands during his early years in highschool. After the release of Yeezus and the ASAP Mob’s Lords Never Worry tape, Ghoul decided to begin rapping. He started taking music seriously after some success releasing music on Tumblr in 2015. Recently, Ghoul accompanied Thouxanbanfauni during his Interstellar Tour.

In the video which clocks in at a minute and a half, scenes of a greenhouse and an apartment are delivered to the viewer in a stop and go fashion that is in line with the instrumental. Similar to most of Ghoul’s recent output this song proceeds like a relentless chant over booming production. “This song is a self-reflection of everything I’ve gone through to get to where I’m at, as well as everything I’m still going through to get to where I want to be. This song is meant to uplift and motivate. Remind everyone that the process can be long, short, smooth, rough, amazing and painful ... but the end result will always be worth it,” Ghoul told The FADER over the phone.
