Years ago, Lil Wayne signed a young buzzing rapper called Tyga to his label Cash Money Records and made him a star. Tyga's new music video "Lightskin Lil Wayne" begins with the message "A Tribute To The GOAT," then proceeds to run through a series of homages to some of Wayne's classic music videos.
Soon after the video's premiere, Wayne expressed his appreciation on Instagram. He wrote: "Love!!!!!! That’s too dope bro. I’m at a lost for words after watching & listening to that! It feels gratifying to be honored in such a way! It feels uber better when it’s from ya broski!! Love @tyga."
