Vancouver-based Debby Friday makes a run for it in “FATAL”

Vancouver-based artist, producer, and DJ Debby Friday recently dropped the visuals for her latest single "FATAL," the first from her upcoming EP Death Drive. The clip finds her pacing, dancing and then running towards an unknown force, with stunning backdrops from locations around nature-filled British Columbia.

"It's a song about a karmic and inevitable attraction. It is about the great and terrible power of love to destroy us, swallow us whole and birth us anew," Friday said of the track, which she says she wrote last summer. "The video, shot on 16mm in various locations around B.C, tells a story of self-confrontation and change."

Death Drive, which Friday describes as "hot noise: full of grief and full of relief," is fittingly due on Friday, August 16.
