Fall starts in just over a month, and U.K. Afrobeat star Afro B is coming in just under the wire with a new summer jam. "Go Dance," featuring dancehall legend Busy Signal, follows B's massively successful 2018 track "Drogba (Joanna)," and is a convincing play for crossover success. Over email, Afro B described his experience working with Busy Signal. "It started from Busy doing his own remake of 'Drogba (Joanna)' and he's someone that I've been listening to in my early stages. I had this song I was sitting on that I wanted a Dancehall feature for and he was the perfect person to get on it. I sent him the song and he sent back his verse within a couple days or so and then we made it happen. Nowadays the Afro sound is similar to the Dancehall sound, so it just made sense to blend the two together. Then going out to Jamaica made me realise that the Afro sound is quite popular out there, so it's a great way to tap into each others worlds and combine them together. "

Afro B's new album AfroWave 3 is out September 27. "95% of the songs are for the ladies," Afro B says, "so ladies I hope you enjoy! There's a lot of summery, tropical types of sounds — the kind of sounds that just make you feel good.
