Lizzo brought out a huge inflatable booty to the VMAs stage Monday night with her high-energy mash-up performance of "Truth Hurts," and "Good As Hell." Both tracks originally came out in 2016. In the middle of her performance, she paused to speak on the importance of body-positivity: "I'm tired of the bullshit...It's so hard trying to love yourself in a world that doesn't love you back. So I want to take the opportunity right now to just feel good as hell, because you deserve to feel good as hell!"
The pop performer is up for two Moon Person awards tonight: Best New Artist, in which she's nominated alongside Rosalía, Billie Eilish, Lil Nas X, H.E.R., and Ava Max, and Push Artist Of The Year, alongside Bazzi, CNCO, Billie Eilish, H.E.R., and Lauv.
