Burna Boy and Jorja Smith get cozy in the “Gum Body” video

With any luck, African Giant will be the album that catapults Burna Boy to global stardom. It's the Nigerian artist's strongest project yet, and his Jorja Smith-featuring single "Gum Body" encapsulates his uncanny ability to capture yearning in all its messy color. In the song's music video, which dropped on Tuesday, the two artists create a fashionable and sexy domestic setting in contrast to the song's lyrics of a chance encounter at a club. The lens of director Meji Alabi is full of humidity and tension, and neatly depicts what almost everyone has in mind when they make plans to go out on the weekend.
