Azealia Banks has returned with new music, dropping her Yung Rapunxel: Pt. II mixtape overnight. The project is streaming as one, 30-minute long, track via Soundcloud. As usual, Banks is mixing things up musically on the tape and raps over a pounding, relentless techno beat throughout.
Yung Rapunxel: Pt. II is Banks's first major project since she dropped Slay-Z in 2016. Last Christmas she shared a festive EP titled Icy Colors Change. Perhaps better known for her controversies in recent years, Banks recently targeted Lizzo with a series of Instagram comments in which she claimed the "Truth Hurts" star is “making a fool of her black self for a white American public.”
