Taylor Swift took the stage on Saturday Night Live last night, bringing her single "Lover" to life in a flurry of green, and performing her song "False God" live for the first time.

For the songs, both from her chart-topping album Lover, she performed stripped-down, acoustic versions—the perfect fit for the SNL soundstage's more intimate setting. Starting off with "Lover," Swift performed surrounded by pops of color and suspended sheets of music while seated at a neon-lit green piano.

For "False God," the singer's visual take on stage was much darker as she performed the track live for the first time alongside two backup singers and sax player, adding a jazzy touch to the song for the stage.
