Fresh from supporting Billie Eilish on tour in Europe this summer, British neo-soul singer JGrrey has dropped her playful new single "Dreaming Fool."

The song, which is the first to be taken from forthcoming EP Ugh, skips around melodically as JGrrey sings "I don't want to wake up if this is what dreams are made of", It is accompanied by a suitably fantastical video premiering above. In it we see JGrrey getting tattooed, watering plants, lighting a spliff, and taking a late-night ride in the passenger seat. Like any good dream it's equal parts surreal and idyllic.

Speaking to The FADER via email, JGrrey said: "I wanted the video to feel weird, I wanted it to feel like a dream. There are parts that feel like this real dreamscape and there is a part where I get the word “Fool” tattooed on my hand by an amazing friend of mine, Traphouse. I wanted it to feel really fucking random, to be honest. I wanted it to be dreamy but dark and I think I achieved that."
