Following this year’s “Heal Me” and “Don’t Hurt Like It Used To” — the earlier which was featured on Love IslandGrace Carter has released another new track. “Fired Up” is an intimate torch song that continues her streak of delicate but affecting R&B soul. Describing the song in a press release, Grace said: “This new music is about me growing up, discovering new parts of myself, and finding forgiveness and peace in some of the situations I’ve encountered in my life. ‘Fired Up’ is a song I wrote about falling in love for the first time.”
