19-year-old Louisville rapper Markie is quickly establishing himself as one of the most exciting new voices from Kentucky. Today, he's releasing his new video for "In My Flesh," a soulful anthem that features a guest spot from Lil Durk. In the video, which premieres on The FADER today, the two rappers deliver their verses in an abandoned building with dark lighting.
"I always been a fan of Durk and when I was making "In My Flesh," I knew I wanted a fire feature," Markie told The FADER over email. "I hit him up and he fucked with it. This is one of my favorite videos I’ve done so far."
Durk adds: “I like Markie's sound and he hustlin' — gettin' it out the mud. I respect that so when they sent me the record, it was nothing.”
