Cam’ron has addressed his former beef with Nas on a new episode of the Rap Radar podcast. Discussing the feud with the podcast’s Elliott Wilson and Brian “B. Dot” Miller, Cam’ron said he regrets certain things about the way he handled his interactions with Nas back in 2002. “I’m a real big Nas fan. What happened was … Nas just dissed me for no reason,” Cam’ron explains, “What did he diss us for? We didn’t even do nothing to him. He [was] more mad at Hot 97.”

Per Complex, Cam’ron and Nas’ beef began because the latter said that the former’s album was “wack” during an interview with Power 105.1. Cam’ron notes that Nas was “more mad at Hot 97” because the only reason Nas initially did the Power 105.1 interview was because Hot 97 wouldn’t let him lynch a JAY-Z doll at their annual Summer Jam.

While Cam’ron released multiple diss tracks at the time, he now feels that he might have been in the wrong. “There’s some things that I found out about afterward that I probably wouldn’t have said if I knew,” he told Rap Radar, “Do I regret it? Yeah, because I didn’t want to go that far.” Watch the full video of Cam’ron on Rap Radar below.
