Vampire Weekend’s Chris Baio and Fort Romeau have formed a new group

C.Y.M.’s new EP is out November 15.

Chris Baio, the bassist from Vampire Weekend, has announced a new project, Pitchfork reports. Together with producer Mike Greene, he has formed C.Y.M. On Friday, November 15th, the duo will be releasing its self-titled EP on Phantasy Sound. Mike Greene was once the keyboard for La Roux, and also DJs and releases his own music under the name Fort Romeau, most recently releasing the Dweller On the Threshold EP last month. Baio’s Vampire Weekend released their fourth album, Father of the Bride, in May, and Baio and Vampire Weekend percussionist Chris Tomson recently began hosting a podcast called “The Road Taken With CT and Baio.” Biao has also released two solo albums.
