Beck's recent visit to Prince's Paisley Park Studios in Minnesota has been memorialized in a new three-track EP, Paisley Park Sessions, released today via Amazon Music. The songs include the two Beck tracks, "Where It's At" from Odelay and "Up All Night' from Colors, as well as a medley of Prince hits titled "The Paisley Experience" that includes “Raspberry Beret,” “When Doves Cry,” “Kiss,” and “1999." "Every studio has its own life to it, its own energy," Beck says in a behind-the-scenes video for the project. "It felt very creative."
Beck's new album Hyperspace is out November 22, and Prince's memoir The Beautiful Ones was published this month. Last week, Prince's estate shared a rare 1999-era Prince song called "Don't Let Him Fool Ya" to streaming services.
