Vince Staples, 6LACK, and Mereba have released "Yo Love," a new song from the soundtrack for Queen & Slim, the upcoming on-the-run flick directed by frequent Beyoncé collaborator Melina Matsoukas and written by Lena Waithe (Master of None). The guitar-driven rap ballad is seemingly inspired by the dynamic between the two main characters of Queen & Slim, who find their relationship tested after an encounter with a cop goes left.
Queen & Slim is in theaters on November 27, with the soundtrack out November 15. The record also features "Ride Or Die" by Megan Thee Stallion and VickeeLo, plus contributions from Lauryn Hill, Lil Baby, Syd, and more. The film's score is handled by Devonté Hynes a.k.a. Blood Orange.
