Goo Hara, a 28-year-old K-pop star and actress, has been found dead in her home in Seoul, South Korea, The Guardian reports. Police are still in the process of establishing a cause of death. Per Billboard, Goo's body was found by an acquaintance. The news comes half-a-year after Goo was found unconscious as a result of an apparent suicide attempt. In the intervening months, Goo attempted to re-launch her career with the release of new single "Midnight Queen." Billboard notes that the past year has been tumultuous for Goo, with an ex-boyfriend accusing her of abuse and Goo herself taking him to court for attempting to circulate a video of them having sex that was filmed without her consent.
