This year's inductees to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame have been announced with Whitney Houston and the Notorious B.I.G. among the names. They are joined by Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, T. Rex, and the Doobie Brothers ahead of a ceremony to be held on May 2.
Houston and Biggie were inducted at the first time of asking with both artists making their debut on the annual longlist in 2019. Artists are eligible for inclusion at any point 25 years after their debut album was released. 2020 marks the first year Biggie could conceivabyl have been brought into the prestigious fold.
Nominees who weren’t inducted this year include Soundgarden, Motörhead, Dave Matthews Band, MC5, Kraftwerk, Thin Lizzy, Pat Benatar, Rufus with Chaka Khan, Todd Rundgren, and Judas Priest.
