Michelle Obama has always championed healthy living and exercise, spearheading the Let's Move! campaign encouraging healthier lifestyle choices for children and adults during her time as First Lady. On Sunday, she took to Twitter to share her workout playlist featuring artists like Beyoncé, Lizzo, Frank Ocean, Meek Mill, Cardi B and more.
“It’s about that time when New Year’s resolutions get a bit harder to stick to,” she shared in a caption alongside the full list, which included a combination of upbeat songs as well as more laidback selections for the "cool-down" portion. “To offer a little inspiration, I want to share my go-to #WorkoutPlaylist with you. These songs always seem to give me that extra boost to get through my toughest workouts.”
The playlist includes singles like Lizzo's "Soulmate," Koffee's "Toast," Beyonce's "Before I Let Go," multiple songs by Cardi B and Bruno Mars and tracks from Nipsey Hussle and BJ The Chicago Kid. Closer to the end of the playlist are much more mellow tunes from artists like Frank Ocean, Ella Mai and Pink Sweat$.
Husband Barack Obama regularly shares his own playlists throughout the year, most recently sharing his favorite songs of 2019 which included DaBaby, Summer Walker, Solange and more.
