Lizzo has already won two award at the 2020 Grammys — Best Urban Contemporary Album for Cuz I Love You, and Best Traditional R&B Performance for "Jerome — and she's nominated for the night's biggest awards, including Best Album, Best Song, and Best Record.

She also had the honor of opening the show at Staples Center, with a theatrical performance of "Cuz I Love You" and "Truth Hurts," backed by a full orchestra. "Tonight is for Kobe!" she shouted before kicking off the performance, the first of what we expect to be a night of tributes to Kobe Bryant, who died earlier today and spent his entire 20-year career playing for the Los Angeles Lakers inside Staples Center.
