KennyHoopla marks his rock star credentials in the hyperkinetic video for new song "how will i rest in peace if i’m buried by a highway?//" Standing alone on a dancefloor, the ripped hem of his jeans lapping at his checkeboard Vans, LA-based Kenny is free to express himself and exert himself at will. The song's new wave energy makes a perfect backdrop to his on stage antics, it's a propulsive banger bursting at the seams with life.

Once his friends join the party, however, life looks a little different for Kenny. "Culture is so claustrophobic," he sings over spiky guitars and rat-a-tat drums as he is pushed numbly around the same space, seemingly immune to the chaos surrounding him.

Speaking about the track, Kenny told The FADER: "I think the song kinda reflects on the cliche of “find what you love and let it kill you” and contemplating immortality with love while trying to survive in a world full of claustrophobic ideologies and humans.”
