Danger Incorporated embody heartbreak in the “Fucking for a Reason” video

You can catch the Awful Records duo on tour this Spring.

Danger Incorporated, the Atlanta duo featuring Louie Dufflebags and Boothlord, channel vulnerability and reflect on lost love with their most recent single, “Fucking for a Reason.” If Dufflebag’s anguished verse and hook represent the immediate aimlessness of a failed relationship, Boothlord jumps right into the stage of resentment — “Fuck I hit it raw / I trusted, that’s my problem.” The song as a whole captures all the mixed thoughts one has in the wake of heartbreak and is the perfect accompaniment for another Friday night in the crib, staring at the ceiling.

The song’s video, premiering above, sees the duo performing to a crowd of zero. Over email, Duffelbags provided some context for the song. “I first wrote this song back in 2017 in Atlanta," he wrote. "However, this new version was recorded may of 2019 in Burbank California during a week-long Hackers of the World Unite recording and editing session. This song, though never before released through Danger, is a favorite of many of our fans. I’m excited for them to hear this new rendition now featuring Boothlord and a much deeper production.”

As they get set to release more music throughout the year, the duo will be going on tour throughout the spring. You can grab tickets here and check out a full list of dates below:
