Bands including A Place To Bury Strangers, Public Practice, and The Orielles will perform at multiple venues across the city later this month.

New Colossus Festival returning to New York for 2020 Maaike Ronhaar

New Colossus, the New York-based festival featuring new bands and emerging artists performing live across a variety of different Lower East Side venues, is set to kick off next week. The festival, which runs from March 11-15, will feature acts from across the globe in addition to industry panel discussions and other speaking events.

A Place to Bury Strangers, Public Practice, and U.K. post-punk band LIFE will headline Bowery Ballroom on March 13 as part of the festival. They join Charlatans frontman Tim Burgess on a bill boasting over 100 bands playing across 5 days on 9 stages.

Burgess will be representing the U.K. alongside Larkins, Mush, False Heads, Vistas, Catholic Action, King Nun, Weird Milk, The Orielles, and Stealing Sheep. Also on the bill for New Colossus 2020 are Australia’s Ali Barter, French dreampop band Marble Arch, Swedish bands Summer Heart, Agent Bla, and Beverly Kills, and many more.
