Pizzagirl's "cape canaveral" video begins as he emerges from the bedroom where he makes his music, a.k.a. the Beatzerria, to show off his interpretative dance routine. With a simple yet catchy guitar line he sings about his travels across the country to get to Cape Canaveral for the party of a lifetime. And after dancing his heart out à-la-Napoleon Dynamite, he finally makes it to the function and is joined by several other dancers.
Pizzagirl described his choreography in an email: "This is my Black Swan moment with a twist, cloaked in massive amounts of double denim, sweat, and finally introducing the iPod classic back into 2020."
Director Corey Rid, meanwhile, added: “When the opportunity comes to go barefooted and boogie with Pizzagirl, you take it. We left the scene to be super stripped back and simple so his moves could do all the talkin’. And by Joe did it work. Step aside the Macarena.”
