It's been a full six years since DJ Hennessy Youngman blessed us with "CVS Bangers Vol. 3," an air-horn-filled soft rock extravaganza featuring choice cuts from Foreigner, Heart, and Dolly Parton. Described by the artist himself as "the audioscape for when you're buying tampons or a 12-pack of condoms," CVS Bangers has, from its inception, pushed drugstore jams to their comic limits, laying deep-voiced mixtape drops over some of history's most straightforward and corny music. And now, while we're all stuck inside wondering how to fill our time, Youngman is back. “CVS Bangers FOUR: Antifascist Blues at the End of the World” came to Mixcloud this morning. On the mix, you'll hear U2, Olivia Newton-John, Billy Ocean, and many more of your least-favorite throwback pop hits. But really you'll hear lots of oddly placed air horns and a man openly asking what the fuck is happening as things progress (and occasionally saying things like, "I see you, Carl Jung").

"This shit was supposed to come out in 2016, but the US election depressed me too much to finish it," Youngman, also known as ART THOUGHTZ auteur and erstwhile Plastic Little member Jayson Musson, wrote beneath the mix. "I had everything laid out too, but I was just like 'fuck it'.' Anyway, this hasn't been modified from its original track arrangement so take a sonic trip back to a pre-pandemic era where was just stuffing whole ass hands down our throats and into our noses and coughing into each other's eyes with nary a second thought. Oh, all the text cover are the numerous titles I came up for this volume over the past few years. I hope this ridiculous mix can help pass the time during your social distancing/quarantine/or just being a filthy gamer who's already a natural shut-in."

If you need a laugh today, or if you really thought U2's "The Sweetest Thing" needed extensive and baffled commentary laid over it, listen to the whole mix below. If you push through, you'll get a Youngman freestyle for your troubles.
