British indie band Spoort's new video might look a little familar to those on lockdown right now. It shows a fan of the band freaking out over the groove-laden tune, dancing around his bedroom and leaping into walls covered in posters of the band. "Turn on, tune in, drop out" vocalist Paul Cupi sings over a lo-fi funky beat. The fan in the video takes things further though, giving himself a drastic new haircut.

Speaking about their new single, Spoort said "Self" is "a warning against objectivity and a calling to understand where we are in the universe before we ever attempt to do anything in it.”

Director Ash Rommelrath, added that "The video is inspired by enduring growing up in the Midlands, the bleak heartland of the United Kingdom, something that both myself and Spoort had in common. We wanted to create a nostalgic homage to fan passion, obsession and mania, and how it can run wild."
