Mere days after releasing his long-awaited fourth album After Hours, The Weeknd, aka Abel Tesfaye, has reissued the album featuring five new tracks. The deluxe edition of After Hours features five remixes from a handful of, honestly, very surprising producers, and a recording of his SNL performance of album track “Scared To Live.” As far as the remixes go, there’s a reworking of “Blinding Lights” by Chromatics, featuring a new verse from Chromatics vocalist Ruth Radelet; a remix of “Save Your Tears” from After Hours featured producer Oneohtrix Point Never; a Vapor Wave remix of “Heartless” featuring Lil Uzi Vert and DaHeala; and a new version of “After Hours” by Paris-based duo The Blaze. After Hours was released last Friday, and is projected to top the Billboard 200 chart next week. The album comes after a banner year for The Weeknd, in which he cameo’d as himself in the Safdie Brothers’ acclaimed Uncut Gems and scored another Billboard No. 1 in the form of After Hours lead single “Blinding Lights.”
