It's easy to listen to music right now and think a certain song or album is perfect for the unusual moment we find ourselves in. London-based visual artist and musician KESH's "not gaan out" has a bigger claim that that title than most, however. Her debut single, premiering above, begins with a stretched out voice saying "I'm not going out" in a truly creepy way. An unsettling message about saying inside that goes on for longer than you expect? Well, the rest writes itself.

What KESH does over the subsequent seven minutes is a little more unprecedented. Mixing ambient soundscapes with moments of pummeling industrial workout, she bends her voice to the ever-changing landscape to create a moment of madness akin to her clear influences, Björk and Arca. It's an intriguing debut and one that leaves the field wide open for wherever KESH wants to go next. Let's just hope we're allowed out to witness it. Hit play on the video above to hear "not gaan out."
