Rising Canadian pop singer Tate McRae looks poised for a breakout year, backed by a promising debut EP in all the things i never said and an outpouring of critical acclaim that includes The Independent labeling her “of pop’s bright young hopes.” For Digital FORT, McRae plays us stripped back versions of her EP’s bookends, “happy face” and ‘stupid,’ backed by nothing more than a keyboard and the echo of a hallway.
Digital FORT is a two-day event bringing together over 100 artists to help raise money for those hardest hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. To find a full list of charities, funds, and resources we’re highlighting throughout FORT, click here. Tate McRae specifically wants us to highlight Save The Music, an organization that is "committed to sharing high quality educational resources with music teachers and schools."
