This past Friday, New York singer and songwriter Margaret Glaspy released her new album Devotion, which is deeper look into self than any of her previous works. One of her main collaborators on the album was producer and musician Tyler Chester. For a deeper dive into how the two came together for the album, their Digital FORT entry is a Zoom call. During the 12-minute coversation, Glaspy and Chester go into the thinking behind some of their musical choices. Glaspy talks about how she built the songs with electronics as opposed to the guitar heavy sound of her first album and more.
